Smallfry puts on body work

Coventry product consultancy Smallfry is designing a range of new bodywork designs for cult motorbike company Harley Davidson. The products, due to be launched early in 1996, are aimed at Harley’s global markets.

Smallfry, led by chairman Tim Fry, is designing a series of parts which can be added to the basic Harley chassis, engine and gearbox to produce customised bikes.

“Visually, the bikes will look like new models,” says a Smallfry spokesman. “The parts are major bodywork panels and additions like mudguards and fuel tanks.”

The first results of Smallfry’s work will be seen in the US before being rolled out to other markets, including the UK.
