Graduate design show New Designers is set to return this summer for its 31st edition, and five Design Week readers can win a pair of free tickets to the show.
The two-part show aims to showcase “the excellence of art and design education in the UK”, and will see more than 3,000 design graduates showcasing their work.
It aims to be a platform where graduates can present their work and get headhunted by potential clients and professional designers to kick-start their careers.
The show also aims to be a source of inspiration for other designers, and work can be bought at the event.
Part 1 will feature textiles, jewellery and ceramics, and Part 2 will include furniture, product design, illustration and motion arts.
A programme of talks will also take place throughout the week, with speakers including notonthehighstreet.com chief executive officer Simon Belsham, Design Museum curator Margaret Cubbage and DesignStudio founder Ben Wright in conversation with John Mathers, current chief executive at Design Council.
Design Week has five pairs of standard day tickets to give away, allowing access to one part of the show.
This competition has now closed. The deadline was midnight on Friday 17 June 2016. We will announce the winner by Wednesday 22 June 2016.
New Designers Part 1 runs from 29 June–2 July and Part 2 runs from 6-9 July at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London N1. For more information about the show, visit the New Designers 2016 website.
