The Woolwich Building Society is to launch a new financial services subsidiary this month, with an identity by Balloon Art Company. The consultancy has also redesigned the logo for the Woolwich’s property services subsidiary.
The Woolwich Financial Services logo, which incorporates the building society’s corporate colours of blue and red, will be used on all literature and promotional materials. “The scripted F used in the logo has been taken from the calligraphy style of the F used in the society’s other financial services subsidiaries and symbolises quality,” says Balloon assistant art director Paul Marten.
The property services identity, which was introduced at the end of December, will be implemented nationwide across the society’s 400 estate agencies. It has already been implemented on all literature.
The consultancy won both jobs as a result of previous work for the Woolwich Building Society.
