Jerwood film awards results out



Screen specialists collected £10 000 in prize money at the inaugural Jerwood Moving Image Awards this week.


The three winners are Sophie Clements with the film Evensong, Johnny Kelly for Procrastination, and Rosie Pedlow and Joe King with Sea Change.


The films, selected from 348 entries, will be displayed in the finalists’ exhibition at the Jerwood Space in London’s Union Street, SE1, until 20 March.


Five other shortlisted works are also being exhibited, including The White and Black Minstrel Show by David Blandy, The Final Act of Geng Yaoting by Richard Forbes-Hamilton, My Life at 40 by Laurie Hill, And when the Light fades I shall never forget, by George Wu, and Bonnie Car and Jump by Norman Wilcox Giessen.
