Visual effects company, Framestore, has appointed Stephen Goalby as design director at its in-house design studio. Goalby previously received a nomination at the 2016 Design Week Awards for his animation work for Royal Albert China.


Ben Illidge has joined Manchester-based industrial design studio, Invetid, as a design engineer.


Consultancies

Fitch has acquired StartJG – the Hong Kong division of independent customer experience consultancy, Start. The news comes as Start is investing more in technology to provide a cloud-based collaborative work platform.


Lancashire-based events, digital and video production agency, Glasgows, has moved its offices from Preston to Leyland. The new site at Centurion Court comprises 604m2 of office space and a 930m2 warehousing and transport yard.


Experience design agency Foolproof has been acquired by global technology group, Zensar Technologies, and will become part of its global digital application services organisation.
