A new concept in computer game café/bars was preparing to launch as Design Week went to press.
The Playing Fields allows up to 20 players to compete against each other on a computer network, and the venue has a licensed bar and café.
The first in a proposed chain of outlets is due to open in London’s West End tomorrow. The identity and marketing materials for the venture have been created by Silverleaf Photographics.
Freelance designer Oliver Price developed interiors for the venture, in a building developed by architect Patrick Ingles.
