RSCG Conran Design creative director Tim Greenhalgh is returning to Fitch as a director. RSCG Conran’s new creative director is David Chaloner.
Greenhalgh is to join Fitch on 27 March. He joined RSCG Conran four years ago from Fitch. Now Greenhalgh is to lead one of two creative “groups” at Fitch. According to a Fitch spokeswoman he will “act as a creative catalyst for the environmental area” and be responsible for “resourcing talent”.
Chaloner joined RSCG Conran this week. He worked at the then Conran Design Group before starting a consultancy, Chaloner and Clarke, which folded in 1992.
RSCG Conran managing director Ian Perry says: “David has an impressive reputation and I am delighted that he is joining our business. His experience will bring tremendous value to both our clients and our staff.”
The consultancy has also appointed John Brash, formerly at Crabtree Hall/Plan Créatif, as a senior retail designer, and Robert Clode as a graphic designer.
Of Greenhalgh’s departure, Perry says: “Tim has made a major contribution to our business over the past four years and we wish him every success.”
RCSG Conran is looking for new premises. Perry expects the consultancy to move in May from its Bedford Street location in London’s Covent Garden. The destination is not yet finalised, but Perry says it will be “in the same area” of central London.
