London-based satellite operator Inmarsat is developing a range of hand-held satellite phones with Nokia, Ericsson and NEC.
The hand set, which is four years away from implementation, will look like a mobile phone but with a longer antenna, says an Inmarsat spokeswoman. Exterior design of the product is yet to begin.
