Mediaworks’ new Dublin office

Bristol-based Istoria Group – which comprises exhibition designers Ignition, retail and hospitality designers Phoenix Wharf and digital experience consultants Tiny Spark – has launched “innovation management platform” Solverboard. With a mix of industry insight and a tracking system, the in-house platform will aim to “bring innovation back into the heart of companies, ensuring it’s aligned to core strategies”, according to its co-founder Phil Atherton.

England and Scotland-based digital agency Mediaworks has opened a new outpost in Ireland, called MWi. Based in Dublin, MWi will continue Mediawork’s digital work, which includes web and app design as well as digital brand strategy. It will be headed up by Declan Kelly.

Silla Levin

Following its acquisition by licensing platform Songtradr, MassiveMusic – which specialises in sound design – has announced Joe Bellioti as CEO of its North American division. Berliotti was previously head of music at The Coca-Cola company, and he will be working with US brands on strategy and sonic branding.

Creative UK Group (formed after the 2020 merger of Creative Industries Federation and Creative England) has announced new members of its UK Council. These include Born Ugly managing director Sarah Dear, V&A East director Gus Casely-Hayford, and Design Business Association CEO Deborah Dawton. The UK Council aims to shape Creative UK Group’s priorities and policy positions, and members are appointments for two years.

Design studio Kurppa Hosk, which has offices in Stockholm and New York, has appointed Silla Levin as its new CEO. Levin was former CEO and president of Swedish ad agency Forsman & Bodenfors. At Kurppa Hosk, she will be leading the studio’s international presence and expansion into the digital space.
