Fendley’s toilet humour moves us to another place

Here’s some over-matter. The enthusiastic Tim Fendley was talking ten-to-the-dozen about the public service ethos when out popped this choice quote.

‘I guess what people want is something solid, reassuring and that works. If you have a rubbish service you can it brand all you want, [but] you can’t polish a turd.’
